Julia Pallone comes from Angers, France and moved to Kinsale, Co Cork, in 2006.

 

She graduated with a Masters in Fine Art in 2002 from The Ecole des beaux Arts in Nantes, France and has also studied at the Accademia delle belle Arti in Venice and at the Sorbonne in Paris.

 

In Ireland Julia has shown work in Uillinn, The Crawford Gallery, and Galway Art Centre amongst others. she had solo shows in The Droichead Art Centre, Ballina Art Centre, Riverbank and Clonmel Art Centres. She was awarded several art residencies including The National Sculpture Factory, The Tyrone Guthrie Centre In Ireland, and many others abroad, in France, Germany and Malta. She has previously been a recipient of several bursaries including Arts Council and Cork County Council and was commissioned by Cork County Council for the FortCamden Project.
